Jolly Golfers 2010 kick's off on Tuesday 27th April.
Day 1 - Arcot Hall Golf Club nr Cramlington just to the north of Gosforth
lunch of soup & sandwiches will be served from 11.45, so make sure everyone has arrived by 11.30. We will be teeing off from 12.30pm (TBC).

It is hoped we can be away from Arcot Hall and booked in to our accommodation no later than 5.30pm. As we have been given permission to visit the City of Newcastle GC to watch the Champions League that evening. It would be good if as many as possible return the gesture by having an evening meal at the club before the match kicks off.
The draw for the following day's team competition will be made after the football.
Accommodation
The Falcon's Nest is a motel type hotel with a bar/restaurant attached. It sadly won’t offer the same type of creature comforts we’d normally expect in a hotel, like a bar that will stay open. The bar/restaurant, I’m sure will probably close at 11pm sharp. Also bear in mind it will be largely occupied by travelling salesmen and workers, which makes a change from the blue rinse brigade.
I will ask the hotel to try and keep us as a group together and if possible away from the other guests to try and reduce any disturbance that we may cause.

Day 3 - Parklands Golf Club (inside Gosforth Park)
After breakfast** the Miller/MacLeod/Meechan Trophy (from now on the wee yellow man trophy) will be played for over the Parklands crazy golf course. 1st putt will be 0900.
We tee off on the final round of the individual Jolly Golfers at 10.42
The draw for the final round will be based on your position in the standings. As with the final round of any major, the final groups will be in order of position after the first round, with the leaders going off last. So no whinging about following diddies. We've all been diddies.
** If anyone wants a cooked breakfast at the Parklands please let me know before we leave Arcott Hall as I will need to book any breakfasts in advance.
Jolly Golfers handicaps are back
Last years scores have been updated and handicaps adjusted accordingly. You are all reminded that Jolly Golfers handicaps cannot be higher than your club handicap. If your official handicap has changed over the last 12 months, you must let me know so I can adjust your JG accordingly.
